PHOTOGRAPHY AND POEMS

“U” , “S” AND “H”

Before “sh” we’ve quite a few

Short words that have an “uh”-like “u”

Half-melted snow we know as “mush”

Red from embarrassment a “blush”

A flow that’s rapid is a “gush”

A sudden silence is a “hush”

To squash to pieces is to “crush”

There is a songbird called a “thrush”.

Your hair you either comb or “brush”

Rich green vegetation’s “lush”

To go there quickly is to “rush”

Soft fabric on a toy is “plush”

Wash waste away? Well that’s to “flush”.

Occasionally you may have found

The “u” has got a longer sound.

A plant that’s wide we call a “bush”

With doors, you either pull or “push”
