PHOTOGRAPHY AND POEMS

A NONSENSE TALE

A kind of toad (they wear just woad)

The lawn had mowed beside the road.

A van they towed had quite a load

Of seeds they sowed (and weeds they’d hoed).

All bent and bowed till muscles showed

They puffed and blowed to mine the lode

Then off they rode, paid what they owed,

Bought goods they stowed in boats they rowed

Whose lights all glowed mysterious code

(Through screens they sewed in some strange mode)

While seagulls crowed and currents flowed.
